Description

The National Museum of  Arts was first dedicated to the Fine Arts in the country. It was established in 1895 and opened a year later.

The National Museum of Arts has the largest collection in Argentina. In the rooms we cab see from pre-Columbian pieces, through the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, to contemporary art.

In 2011 the National Museum reorganized its permanent collection. The change of the curatorial script aimed to incorporate the nineteenth century Argentine art of European art below the same period.

Schedule: Tuesday to Friday 12.30pm to 8.30pm; Saturday and Sunday 9.30am to 8.30pm. Tuesday and Sunday: 4, 5 and 6pm.
